The bell in the top bar collects everything that needs a person's attention. The badge counts unread notifications up to 9+. Open it to read them, press Mark all as read, or Refresh. Clicking a notification opens the record it is about.

Shared, not personal

Notifications belong to the dive center. One event is one notification, and everyone whose permissions cover it sees the same entry with the same read state. When one colleague reads it, the badge clears for the others too. Each reader sees the text in their own language, except the summary line of a new online booking, which is always in English.

Some clear themselves

Warnings are marked as read once the underlying problem is fixed: handling or declining a registration, the customer signing any waiver online, enrolling or cancelling the course booking, settling the stuck enrolment, staffing the sessions, or assigning a boat master to the trip. Repeating checks do not post the same warning twice, except that a stuck enrolment or a course booking that is still not enrolled gets a new warning after the old one has been removed.

Notifications are removed 30 days after they were read, and in any case 90 days after they were posted. The bell shows the newest 30.

Nothing here is emailed

In-app notifications are never sent by email. The only routine emails to staff are the daily schedule reminder, which is on unless you switch it off in your profile, and the dive log request sent to each group leader once a trip has ended. See Your profile, language and password and How dive logs are requested.
