Everything about your own account lives behind the account button at the bottom of the sidebar. The dive center's settings are elsewhere; this is only about you.

Edit profile

Choose Edit profile from the account menu:

  • First name and Last name.
  • Email. This is your sign-in name. Changing it takes effect immediately, without a confirmation email, so type carefully. It cannot be an address another DivePilot user already has.
  • Language. Sets the language of the app for you and of the emails DivePilot sends you, but not of the subscription and payment emails, which go to the dive center's business email. It does not change anyone else's language, and customers have their own language on their profile.

Press Save changes.

Daily schedule reminder

Under Notifications in the same dialog, Daily schedule reminder is on by default and sends you an evening email with your boat trips and course sessions for the next day. Switch it off to stop these emails. It is sent around eight in the evening in your dive center's timezone, only on days when you actually have something tomorrow: trips where you are the boat master or in a group's staff, and sessions where you are the instructor. The email carries an Open the schedule button.

Change your password

At the bottom of the dialog, enter your Current password and a New password, then save. Leave both blank to keep your password. The new one needs at least 8 characters with a capital letter, a lower-case letter, a number and a special character; the dialog only checks the length, so the other rules show up after saving if they are not met. A wrong current password is refused.

If you cannot sign in at all, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page instead. See Create your account.

Theme

Theme in the account menu switches between light, dark and automatic. The choice is saved on your account and applies when you sign in on another device.

Sign out

Sign out in the same menu ends your session on this device at once, and on any other device within 15 minutes. Sessions expire by themselves after 30 days without use. See I keep getting signed out.
