The Dive centre tab under Settings, in the General group, holds your name, location and regional defaults. It is short by design; guest-facing contact details are on the Branding tab.
Profile
- Dive centre name is shown on the public booking, registration and dive log pages, in guest emails, in the sidebar's account row, and it is the text you have to retype to delete the account.
- Primary agency is read-only. It was set during sign-up; contact support to change it.
Location
- Country drives the defaults for Timezone and Currency. Changing it overwrites both. It also sets the region that decides your DivePilot price, see Plans and prices.
- Timezone appears once a country is chosen: a fixed value when the country has one zone, a list when it has several.
The timezone matters more than it looks. Most dates and times in the app are shown in it, the dashboard greeting uses it, and every ten minutes DivePilot completes confirmed bookings whose trip date is already over in that zone.
Currency and dates
- Currency is a three-letter code such as CHF or EUR.
- Date format picks how most dates in the app are written. Each choice is shown as an example date.
Changing the currency does not convert anything. An amber banner warns you as soon as you type a different code, and on save a dialog titled Change currency to …? asks you to confirm. Every price, rate and recorded amount keeps its number and is simply read in the new currency from then on.
Press Save changes. The button only becomes active once something has changed.
Note: If your guest links use the Dive centre name link type, every save on this tab changes that link, even when the name stays the same. Shared links and printed QR codes with the old address stop working, so copy the new link and reprint them.
What is not on this tab
- There is no street address. DivePilot does not store one for the dive center.
- The business email from sign-up cannot be edited in the app.
- Website, phone or WhatsApp and Instagram for your guests live under Branding, in Contact details.
- The default language for new customers starts as the language you signed up in and can only be changed in the setup guide's Essentials step, while that step is still pending.
Danger zone
The Danger zone tab, visible only to users who also have the account deletion permission, holds a single action: Delete account. It deactivates the dive center immediately and schedules its records for removal after 30 days. The details are in Delete your dive center.
