DivePilot has one plan with every feature included. You only choose how often you pay, and the price depends on the region your dive center is in.
One plan, two billing cycles
There are no tiers, add-ons or prices per user. The plan covers boat trips, courses, the online booking page, waivers, the staff schedule and pay, equipment and rentals, with no limit on customers or bookings. Future updates are included.
The main limit is people: a dive center can have at most 20 users, including invited users who have not accepted yet. Archived users do not count. The plan card on the Subscription tab says "Unlimited staff, customers and bookings", but the limit of 20 users still applies.
You pay Monthly or Yearly. A year costs the same as ten months, which the app rounds to "Save ~17%".
Prices by region
All prices are in US dollars.
| Region | Monthly | Yearly | Saving per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Asia | $59 | $590 | $118 |
| Middle East and Africa | $69 | $690 | $138 |
| Europe | $79 | $790 | $158 |
| Oceania | $85 | $850 | $170 |
| Americas | $89 | $890 | $178 |
Your card is always charged in US dollars. If your card account is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may add its own fee. DivePilot does not calculate VAT or sales tax on top of these prices, and has no field for a VAT number.
How your region is chosen
The region comes from the Country of your dive center, set at sign-up and editable under Settings, then Dive centre. The plan card shows it next to the name, for example "DivePilot · Europe". A country that belongs to no region is billed at the Europe price.
Changing the country changes the region, and no warning tells you so:
- The Subscription tab shows the new region straight away. Before you subscribe, the plan card also shows the new region's price.
- A running subscription keeps being charged its old price, and its plan card shows that amount as the next charge. If the new region costs more, the new price appears struck through below it with "Discount applied to your next payment", although no discount was given.
- The next switch between monthly and yearly, and any new subscription after a cancellation, use the new region's price.
See Dive centre details, timezone and currency for what else the country changes.
When your price can change
- A running subscription keeps the price it started on.
- The Terms of Service allow a price change at renewal, announced at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription.
- Switching between monthly and yearly, or subscribing again after a cancellation, uses your region's price on that day.
- A discount already applied keeps running for the duration it was given for.
More than one dive center
One subscription covers one dive center. Each location needs its own DivePilot account, with its own free trial, subscription, invoices and regional price. Nothing is shared between accounts, not customers, boats or staff, and one login cannot switch between them.
- Each account needs its own business email. An address already in use is refused with "A dive centre with this email address already exists".
- Anyone who works at both needs a separate sign-in email for each, see I cannot sign in.
Discount codes
If you have a discount code, you enter it when you subscribe. It lowers the price; it cannot lengthen a free trial. See Subscribe to DivePilot.
