The dive center's pages and emails are available in seven languages: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands and Português. Pages and emails choose their language separately, so they can differ.

Switch the language on a page

Every booking, registration, waiver and dive log page has a language button with a flag. On a computer it sits in the top-right corner. On a phone it is under the logo and shows only the flag. Tap it and pick your language. The page switches at once, and this browser remembers your choice for the next page you open.

How a page picks its language

When you open a page, it uses:

  1. the language this browser used last time on these pages, including one you picked with the language button;
  2. otherwise the language of your phone or browser;
  3. otherwise English.

The page does not use the language saved with your details at the dive center, and email links carry no language. So a waiver email in Italian can open a page in English on a phone set to English. Just use the language button.

Note: On a shared tablet at the dive center, a page can open in the language the previous person chose. Switch it before you start.

The language of your emails

Emails use the language saved with your details at the dive center. When you book or register, that is the Language field on the first step of the form. It starts with the language of the page, so pick another one there if you prefer.

If the dive center entered your details for you, the language is the one they set. If they added you while creating a booking, it is English. To change it later, ask the dive center.

What stays in one language

  • The waiver document is shown exactly as the dive center added it, and it may be in English even when the rest of the page is in your language. If you have trouble understanding it, ask the dive center before you sign.
  • What the dive center typed themselves, such as boat names, dive sites, course names and your guide's notes, appears as they wrote it.
  • The terms and conditions link on the booking and registration forms opens a page in English.

The medical questions on a waiver do follow the page language. See The medical questionnaire.
