Your dive center uses DivePilot to run its bookings, boat trips, waivers and dive logs. When they send you a link or an email, it reaches you through DivePilot, but you are dealing with the dive center: they hold your booking and your details, and they are the people to talk to.
No account needed
You never register an account, log in or install anything. Every page opens straight from a link or a QR code and works on a phone, tablet or computer. There is no password to remember and no "my bookings" area where you could look things up later. Keep the emails instead: they hold your booking number and your links.
Where you meet DivePilot
| Page | How you get there | What you do there |
|---|---|---|
| Online booking | A link, or a poster that says "Scan to book a dive" | Pick a trip or a course and reserve a spot |
| Customer registration | A link, or a poster that says "Scan to check in" | Leave your details before you arrive |
| Waiver signing | An email "Please sign your waiver - …", or a link from the dive center | Read and sign a waiver |
| Your dive log | An email "Your dive log from …" | Look up the dives from your trip |
You may also receive emails about your booking. See Emails you may receive.
How to recognise the pages
- The address in your browser starts with
my.divepilot.app. - The top of the page shows the dive center's logo. If they have not added one, the DivePilot logo appears instead.
- The bottom of the page says "Powered by" next to the DivePilot logo. If the dive center added them, round buttons with their website, phone number and Instagram account sit just above.
- Emails name the dive center in the text and end with "This email was sent by … through DivePilot."
Who to contact
For anything about your booking, your spot, a waiver, rental gear or your personal details, contact the dive center:
- Reply to any email about your booking, a waiver or your dive log. Your reply goes to the dive center, not to DivePilot.
- Use the website or phone buttons at the bottom of the pages, if the dive center added them.
- Use any contact details the dive center gave you.
DivePilot provides the software. It does not take bookings, set prices or decide who dives, and only the dive center can confirm, move or cancel your booking. The pages have no chat and no contact form.
Note: The waiver signing page does not show the dive center's name, only their logo and contact buttons if they added them. If you are unsure who asked for your signature, look at the email: the sentence after the greeting names the dive center.
What you cannot do online
- Pay or leave a deposit. The booking page shows no prices for trips or courses.
- Cancel or change a booking. Ask the dive center.
- Look up your past bookings, registrations or signed waivers.
If the pages are hard to use
Some parts of these pages can be hard to use, especially with a screen reader or a keyboard alone:
- A waiver signature has to be drawn with a finger, stylus or mouse. There is no typed alternative.
- On a medical questionnaire, the chosen Yes or No is shown only by its colour, and the waiver document may not scroll with the keyboard.
- Some fields, such as Date of birth and Nationality, may be read out without their name, and pages in other languages are marked as English, so a screen reader may read them with English pronunciation.
- On Windows, the language button can show two letters, such as
GB, instead of a flag.
If any of this gets in your way, ask the dive center to take your details over the phone or at the counter, or to have you sign the waiver on paper at the shop.
How your details are handled is covered in Your data and privacy.
