Once you have subscribed, Settings, then Subscription shows your plan instead of the trial. Everything described here needs the subscription permission, which among the built-in presets only Admin carries.

The plan card

The dark card at the top reads Current plan, "DivePilot" with your region, and a green Active badge. Renews on gives the date of the next renewal, and the large amount is what the next invoice will be, per month or per year. If the next invoice comes to less than the list price, for example because of a discount, the list price is struck through and the card adds "Discount applied to your next payment".

Three tiles below repeat the essentials:

Next payment The renewal date
Billing cycle Monthly or Yearly
Next charge The amount of the next invoice

How renewal works

The subscription renews by itself at the end of each month or year and charges the card on file. You do not need to do anything.

Ahead of a renewal, DivePilot emails the business email from sign-up: "Your DivePilot subscription renews on …", with the date and the amount, for example 79.00 USD. Its Manage subscription button opens Settings when you are signed in on that browser; pick Subscription if another tab opens. Once you have cancelled, no reminder is sent.

Replace the card

The Payment method row shows the card on file, such as "Visa ···· 4242 · expires 08/27". A badge warns you in time:

  • Expires soon when the card runs out within 60 days.
  • Card expired once it has run out.

To change the card:

  1. Press the Payment method row. A Stripe page for your billing opens in a new browser tab.
  2. Add the new card on that page.
  3. Come back to DivePilot and reload the page. The row shows the new card once Stripe has passed it on.

There is no card form inside DivePilot for a running subscription; the card is always changed on the Stripe page. What else that page lets you do, such as listing invoices, depends on how DivePilot has set it up.

If DivePilot has no card details stored, the row reads "Update your card and download invoices in the Stripe portal" and opens the same page.

Note: If nothing opens, your browser has probably blocked the new tab. Allow pop-ups for DivePilot and press the row again. DivePilot shows no message when the Stripe page cannot be opened.
