Your free trial and when it ends

Every new dive center starts on a free trial of 90 days. You get every feature, no card is asked for, and nothing is charged when it ends.

How long it lasts

The trial starts the moment you sign up, not when you confirm your email, and ends exactly 2,160 hours (90 days) later. It includes everything a paid subscription does, with the same limit of 20 user accounts, where pending invitations count and archived users do not.

There is no way to extend a trial in the app. A discount code lowers the price of a subscription; it does not add trial days.

Where you see the countdown

• The top bar shows a pill such as "12 days left" to everyone on your team. In the last three days it turns red with a pulsing dot.
• Clicking the pill opens a short note and a Subscribe button that leads to Settings, then Subscription. Colleagues without the subscription permission see the pill and the button too, but land on another settings tab, or on an empty Settings page if they have no settings permissions.
• The Subscription tab shows a tile with the days left, titled Free trial, or Trial ending soon in the last three days, and the date the trial ends.

The reminder email

Three days before the end, DivePilot sends one email, "Your DivePilot trial ends on …", to the business email you gave at sign-up. It is always in English. Its Choose a plan button opens Settings if you are already signed in on that browser, otherwise the sign-in page; pick Subscription if another tab opens.

There is no second email on the last day or after the trial has ended, so do not wait for one.

Subscribing during the trial

You can subscribe at any time, see Subscribe to DivePilot. The first payment is taken the moment you subscribe and your paid month or year starts that day. The free days you had left are not added on top.

If you want every free day, subscribe near the end. If you miss the moment, you can still subscribe from the page that appears once the trial is over, and all your data is waiting.

When the trial is over

Nothing is charged and no subscription starts by itself. Instead, DivePilot locks for your whole team at the exact time the trial ends:

• Anyone who can manage the subscription sees a full-screen page titled Your free trial has expired, with the plan and a card form.
• Everyone else sees Access unavailable with a note to contact their administrator, and a Sign out button.

Your data is kept, and the end of the trial deletes nothing.

Note: Your booking page and self-registration link keep accepting guests after the trial has ended, although nobody on your team can see what arrives until you subscribe. If you do not plan to continue, set both cards under Online booking to Off before the last day to close your booking page, see Turn on online booking. The self-registration link has no off switch.
