Your latest DivePilot invoices are listed on the Subscription tab under Payment history. The invoices themselves are issued and hosted by Stripe, the payment provider.
Payment history
Open Settings, then Subscription, and scroll below the plan. The card appears once there is at least one invoice and lists the latest 24, newest first. Each row shows:
- Date
- Invoice, the invoice number, hidden on a phone
- Amount
- Status
- an icon at the end that opens the invoice
Amount is what was paid on the invoice. An invoice still waiting for payment can therefore show zero, and a refunded invoice still shows the original payment; the refund shows in the status.
Download an invoice or receipt
- Press the icon at the end of the row. Stripe's page for that invoice opens in a new tab.
- Use the download buttons on that page for the invoice or, once it is paid, the receipt.
DivePilot has no download button of its own, and invoices older than the latest 24 are not listed. Stripe's link to an invoice also expires about 30 days after it is issued, and DivePilot does not renew it, so an older row opens a Stripe page saying the link has expired. For an older invoice, check the Stripe page behind the Payment method row, or write to support@divepilot.app.
While your account is locked, Settings does not open and this list is out of reach. Write to support@divepilot.app for your invoices.
Invoice statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Paid | The payment went through |
| Open | Issued and not paid yet, for example while a declined payment is retried |
| Refunded or Partially refunded | Money went back to your card |
| Disputed | The charge was disputed with your card issuer |
An invoice that is later voided or written off at Stripe keeps its last status in this list, usually Open. A dispute only changes the status in this list; your dive center gets no email about it.
Name, email and tax details
- Invoices carry your dive center's name as it was when the payment form was first opened, and the business email from sign-up. Renaming the dive center later does not change them.
- The business email is not shown anywhere in DivePilot, and it can differ from the email you sign in with. It is the address that got the confirmation code at sign-up, and the one guests reach by replying to a booking email or a waiver signing request. Support can confirm or change it: write to support@divepilot.app.
- DivePilot has no billing address, VAT number or tax ID field, and adds no tax lines. If your accountant needs these on the invoice, check whether the Stripe page behind Payment method lets you add them.
Billing emails you receive
All of them go to the business email, in your dive center's default language unless noted.
| Subject | When |
|---|---|
| "Your DivePilot trial ends on …" | Three days before the trial ends, always in English |
| "Your DivePilot subscription renews on …" | Ahead of each renewal |
| "Your DivePilot payment failed" | A renewal or plan switch payment was declined, and again after the last retry |
| "Confirm your DivePilot payment" | Your bank wants you to approve a payment, usually a renewal |
| "Your DivePilot subscription was cancelled" | When you cancel, and again when the subscription ends |
What to do with each is in Your free trial and when it ends, When a payment fails and Cancel or restart your subscription.
No email comes from DivePilot when you subscribe, when a payment goes through or when an invoice is issued. Download each invoice from Payment history soon after it is paid, before its link expires.
