A booking can carry a list of rental gear the guest needs. It is a request, not yet a rental: the gear is reserved for real when you fulfil it.
Add requests to a booking
In the new booking dialog, or when editing a booking, open the Equipment section. Add a line per item, pick the category or bundle and the quantity, and DivePilot shows availability and prices as you go. Sizes are prefilled from the customer's profile. A free-text note takes anything else, such as a preference.
Limits: up to 20 request lines per booking, up to 50 pieces per line for staff, and 2000 characters for the note.
Let guests request gear online
Under Settings, then Online booking, switch on Offer equipment rentals online. Guests then get a Rental equipment step on the booking page where they say what they need, up to 10 pieces per line. Show rental prices adds your daily and per-trip rates to what they see; off, they see the gear without prices. Self-registering guests declare what they own either way; with the switch on, they pick from your own equipment categories instead of a standard gear list.
Fulfil a request
On the booking page the Equipment requests card lists every request, with one status for the whole booking: Awaiting fulfillment or Fulfilled. Press Fulfill to open a new rental with the customer, the date and the requested lines already filled in. Complete the rental as usual, and the request is marked fulfilled with a View rental link back to it.
Sizes on the profile
The sizes a diver usually needs live on the Diving tab of their profile, under Equipment: wetsuit, BCD, fins and mask, next to whether they own a regulator and dive computer and their weight belt in kilograms. Keep them current: a request fills in a size only when it matches one of the category's sizes, and saving a booking writes the sizes picked on its requests back to these fields.
