When nothing in this help center solves the problem, or DivePilot seems to be down for everyone, check the status page first and then write to the team. Replies come from the DivePilot team in Switzerland, usually within one business day.
Is DivePilot down?
The system status page shows whether the platform is up right now. Open it when every save fails with "Something went wrong", lists look empty, or nothing loads at all.
- If the status page reports a problem, there is nothing to fix on your side. Wait and reload.
- If it shows everything up, the problem is most likely closer to you: your connection, a firewall, or your browser. See Browsers, phones and the camera. Short or intermittent outages do not always show on the status page, so write to the team if the errors keep coming back.
The app itself has no maintenance banner. While DivePilot is being updated, requests can fail for a short moment and then work again.
How to reach the team
There is no chat or contact button inside the app. Use one of these:
| Channel | Use it for |
|---|---|
WhatsApp, +41 76 281 30 07 |
The fastest way. Questions, a walkthrough, or a screenshot of whatever is stuck. |
| support@divepilot.app | Something not working as expected, a question about a feature, or an account problem |
| contact@divepilot.app | General questions, a demo for your dive center, partnerships |
| privacy@divepilot.app | Personal data requests such as data exports and deletion. Answered within 30 days, usually much faster. |
All channels are also listed on the contact page.
What to include
A complete first message saves a round of questions:
- your dive center's name and the email you sign in with,
- what you were doing, and what you expected to happen,
- the exact message, ideally as a screenshot; for a crashed page, the details under "Show Error",
- when it happened, with the date, time and your timezone,
- the device and browser you used,
- for a guest link, the link itself and what the guest saw.
Never send your password. Nobody at DivePilot needs it.
What only support can do
Some changes have no screen in the app:
- Changing the dive center's business email, including one mistyped at sign-up.
- Changing the Primary agency set during sign-up.
- Reactivating a dive center that was deleted under Danger zone, within 30 days of the deletion.
If you believe someone else has access to your account, write to support@divepilot.app immediately. In the meantime, reset your password through Forgot password?, which signs the account out on every device within 15 minutes. See Password reset links and verification codes.
Before you write
Many problems have a quick answer in this topic:
- I cannot sign in
- An email never arrived
- A menu item is missing or access is refused
- Error messages and pages that do not load
