Every waiver record of one customer sits on the Waivers tab of their profile, whatever the template and however it was signed. The tab is shown to anyone who can view waivers.

The list

The section starts with Request waiver, shown to people allowed to request signatures. It opens the request dialog described in Request a waiver signature.

Each row shows:

  • the template title;
  • the organisation and version, such as PADI · v4.03. The organisation appears as a stored code, so a custom template with version 1 reads CUSTOM · v1;
  • a status badge: Signed, with an icon for online, upload or in person, Link sent, Unsigned or Expired.

The newest record comes first, and expired records are moved to the bottom. The tab has no search or filter. To find records across customers, use the documents archive.

An empty tab

Message What it means
"No waiver templates configured." The customer has no records and your dive center has no active template. Someone who manages templates adds one, or switches one back to Active, under Settings, then Waivers. See Create a waiver template
"No waivers signed yet." Active templates exist, but nothing has been requested for this customer yet

An open request is a row of its own, so neither message appears once anything was requested.

Open a record

Click a row. The dialog is titled with the template, with the organisation and version underneath. What follows depends on the record:

Record What the dialog shows
Link sent Status with the badge, "Signing link sent - awaiting signature", Link expires, Waiver version, Organisation, View the waiver template when there is a PDF, Copy link and Resend email
Unsigned, or a request that expired unsigned Status with the badge, then Send signing link, Photograph signed copy, Upload signed copy and Confirm signed in person
Signed, or a signature that expired Signed digitally online, Signed via uploaded document or Confirmed signed in person, then the details below

A completed record lists Signed by, Date, Confirmed by, IP address, Device, Expires, Waiver version, Consent given, Document hash, Medical answers and Drawn signature, as far as they apply. An online signature has the typed name, the IP address, the device and the drawing. An upload or an in-person confirmation has the date and the team member who recorded it. View the uploaded document opens a photographed or uploaded copy, and View the waiver template opens the template's PDF.

A completed record is read-only. You only see the actions your permissions allow, with one gap: Confirm signed in person on an unsigned record also needs permission to request signatures, because it creates a new record, and is refused without it.

What the tab does not offer

  • No button that opens the signing page for you. Copy link is the way in; see Sign waivers at the counter, for walk-ins and children.
  • No renew button. Request the same template again; the request dialog only lists active templates.
  • No way to delete, cancel or edit a record, so every request stays in the history.
  • No signed PDF to download. An online signature is the record plus the template's PDF.

The Waivers word in the customer header sums up this tab for the templates required for diving, or for every record when no template is required; see Waiver expiry, renewal and checks.
