Open a trip from the calendar or the list. The page is built for the morning of the trip: everything that still needs doing is at the top.
The header
The boat's name is the title. Underneath: the date, the exact time if the trip has one, divers out of capacity if the boat has a capacity set, in red when the boat is full, the number of guests if there are any, and the boat master, or Unassigned in amber. Below that the dive plan lists the stops with numbered badges.
The actions menu offers, depending on your permissions:
- Checklist downloads the printable trip checklist. See The trip checklist.
- Upload checklist, or View checklist once one exists.
- Edit trip opens the trip dialog.
Departure check
A strip of chips, green when fine and amber when something needs attention:
| Chip | Amber when |
|---|---|
| Boat master set | No boat master; if you can edit the trip, click it to assign one |
| All groups led | A non-empty group has no leader |
| Waivers signed | A diver on the trip has a missing or expired required waiver |
| Certifications OK | A group with required levels has a diver with no matching certification, or one marked "manual check recommended" |
| Rental gear prepared | A rental request on the trip is not fulfilled yet |
| All bookings assigned | A fun dive booking for this date and departure is not in a group and not cancelled |
The leader chip only appears once a group has members, the waiver chip only when an active waiver template is marked as required for diving and a group holds a customer, and the certification chip only when a group has required levels. Waiver expiry is judged as of now, not on the trip date; see Waiver expiry, renewal and checks. Groups that belong to a course are left out of the waiver and certification checks, including any fun divers you add to them: enrolment checks the course prerequisite, but not waivers.
Equipment
When anyone on the trip requested rental gear, an Equipment card lists them with the requested items and a badge counting the divers still to prepare. Only divers already in a dive group count, here and in the departure check, so a request on an unassigned booking shows up once you assign it. Fulfill opens a new rental with the customer, the trip date and the requested lines filled in. Divers already sorted are folded away under a count.
The rest of the page
Below the strip sit the dive groups on the left and, on the right, the unassigned bookings, the seating plan and the guests. Each has its own article: Dive groups and participants, Seat divers on the boat and Guests who stay on the boat.
