The boat trips calendar and list

Boat trips in the sidebar opens your trips as a calendar. A toggle in the header switches to a list, and DivePilot remembers the view, the filters and the day you were looking at in this browser until you sign out.

The calendar

Choose Day, Week or Month at the top. On a phone only the day view is available, on a tablet day and week. Use the arrows to move, or click the date label to jump to another month or year.

Every trip shows as a small card in its day: the departure time, a diver count against the boat's capacity that turns red when the boat is full, the boat name and, except in the week view on a tablet, the first dive site with a count of further stops. Click a card to open the trip. If you can create trips, click an empty day, or the plus that appears when you hover over it, to plan a trip on that date.

Days with bookings but no trip

A day tinted amber with a pulsing dot has fun dive bookings that are not on any trip, because no trip exists on that date yet. The chip on the day says how many. Plan the trip for the booked departure and the bookings turn up under Unassigned bookings on its page. The same dates, each with its booking count, are listed on the dashboard under Bookings without a trip. The indicator only appears in the week and month views, for today and later dates, and to team members who can view bookings.

The list

The list shows the newest date first, one row per trip with the date, the boat, the departure as slot and time, an Online pill for published trips, the chain of dive sites and the capacity. Filters:

Clear filters resets them. The bin icon on a row deletes the trip after a confirmation; see Plan a boat trip for what deleting does to its bookings.

What you see with own-trip access

Team members whose permissions limit them to their own trips see only the trips where they are the boat master, in one of its dive groups, or the instructor of a course session on it. The page description tells them so, and they cannot delete trips.
