The Rentals page lists every rental, latest start date first, with the customer, the dates, the items, the total and the status.
The summary strip
Active rentals and Overdue returns are counts you can click to filter. Due back today and On rent are information.
Filters
A customer search, a category select with All categories and a status select with All statuses, Active, Overdue, Returned and Cancelled. Overdue is not a status of its own but a flag on active rentals past their end date.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Gear is out, or the rental is created for a future date |
| Returned | Every line is back |
| Cancelled | Cancelled before anything was returned |
A rental you create starts as Active immediately.
Reading a row
The dates cell shows the range with the number of days, or the trip date with its departure slot. The items cell shows up to three categories with quantities and folds the rest. Click a row for the panel; see Returns, damage and overdue gear.
Limits
Ten rentals per page. The strip's due-today and on-rent figures come from the first 100 active rentals and say so when there are more.
